Mexican Authorities Arrest Father Accused of Abusing and Impregnating Teenage Daughter

Mexican authorities, working with the FBI, have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing and impregnating his teenage daughter. The girl was also rescued during the operation, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office in California. Investigators believe the teenager gave birth beside a road in California. The newborn was later found dead on August 1, and authorities had initially searched for both the father and daughter in connection with the death. Prosecutors said the teenager will not face charges and described her as a victim of her father’s alleged abuse. The man is suspected of several offences, including incest, child endangerment and sexual offences involving a minor.
