EFCC Flags Ex-Minister Sadiya Umar Farouq as Wanted Over Alleged Fund Diversion

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Sadiya Umar Farouq wanted. The agency alleges she is involved in criminal conspiracy, abuse of office and diversion of public funds. The notice lists her last known address in Maitama, Abuja. The EFCC urges anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact its nearest office in any state or report to the closest police station. Farouq led the ministry under the previous administration from 2019 to 2023.
