Three Nigerians Arrested in Philippine Drug Busts
Philippine police have arrested three Nigerian nationals in separate anti-drug operations in Pampanga province. Two suspects were arrested in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, on October 17. Police said they recovered dried marijuana, kush and 60 ecstasy tablets. The suspects were identified as high-value targets residing in Mabalacat City. A day earlier, officers arrested another Nigerian man in the same area and said they seized 3,510 suspected ecstasy tablets. Investigators are examining whether the arrests are connected to a wider drug supply and distribution network. All three suspects face charges under the Philippines’ Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
