Over 30 Yoruba Kings Flee Palaces in Kwara After Bandit Abductions
Bandits kidnapped another Oba in Kwara State today. This marks the eleventh traditional ruler abducted or killed in recent attacks. In fear for their safety, over thirty Yoruba monarchs abandoned their palaces across Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, and Kogi states. Some of the rulers who fled include: • Oba Kehinde Jacob Falodun, Alagamo of Agamo, Ondo State • Oba Segun Aremu, Olukoro of Koro, Ekiti State • Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin, Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Ekiti State • Adeniyi Adelana, Traditional Ruler of Ode Oriya Village, Ondo State
