NSCDC Raids Alleged Illegal Juice Factory in Badagry, Arrests Two Women
The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has uncovered an alleged illegal juice-production facility in Badagry and arrested two women. The agency said packaged drinks were found at the premises, with some allegedly prepared for distribution to markets across Lagos. Officers also recovered materials including sugar, water, adhesives, dyes and colourants. NSCDC alleged that teenagers aged 15 and 16 were involved in activities at the facility. One suspect said the business had operated for years and was attempting to renew its registration with NAFDAC. Investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are expected to be charged to court.
