IPOB Alleges DSS Abduction of Professor Aghaji to Hide Medical Fraud in Kanu’s Case
The Indigenous People of Biafra claims the Department of State Services abducted Emeritus Professor Martin Aghaji, Nnamdi Kanu’s personal doctor, in Enugu. They say operatives took him to Abuja and Lagos to suppress his medical evidence. After days in custody, Aghaji was released following pressure from the Nigerian Medical Association, civil society groups, and legal teams demanding explanations. No official reason for his arrest was provided by security agencies. IPOB accuses authorities of forging a medical report and excluding Aghaji from a court-ordered examination of Kanu’s health. They describe the alleged manipulation of evidence as “fraud on the court.” The group warns that lawyers and medical experts tied to Kanu’s appeal face intimidation. IPOB is calling on international observers to scrutinise the disputed medical report and the judicial process for signs of coercion.
