However, comparing people or migration to zombies or aliens can fuel harmful stereotypes. Security discussions should focus on verified threats, intelligence, border controls and the protection of civilians. The congresswoman’s post appears to be about United States immigration policy. It does not provide evidence for linking all migrants or African countries to extremist groups.
