Young Man Shot Dead at UNIBEN Main Gate; Two Others Wounded

A young man known as Junior was shot multiple times and killed near the University of Benin main gate. Eyewitnesses say masked gunmen opened fire, reloaded and ensured he was dead before fleeing. Two others, including a female Biochemistry student, were hit and rushed to hospital for treatment. Some suspect a cult-related attack. Others claim it stemmed from a ₦70 million dispute linked to alleged online fraud. Reports also suggest the victim worked as an "Aza man."
