Okorocha: Tinubu Has Not Wronged Igbos, Opposition in Imo Is Not Against Him

Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha says President Bola Tinubu has not wronged the Igbo people and still has strong relationships across the Southeast. Speaking on a television political programme, Okorocha said resentment towards former President Muhammadu Buhari in Imo State and the Southeast was much stronger than any dissatisfaction directed at Tinubu. He argued that complaints about governance in Imo should not be interpreted as rejection of the president. Okorocha also insisted that his APC leadership dispute in the state would be resolved in his favour and predicted that Tinubu would win Imo State in 2027.
