El-Rufai Says He Will Not Seek Revenge Amid ICPC Detention

Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai says he will not pursue revenge or retribution against anyone he believes has wronged him, despite the support he previously gave them. In an article titled “My Relationships and the Aftermath,” El-Rufai said he was focused on keeping a clear conscience and leaving ultimate judgment to God. He added that people must live with the consequences of their choices. His comments come as the ICPC investigates allegations of corruption, abuse of office and money laundering linked to his time as Kaduna State governor. The commission says he is being held under a court remand order.
