CYMS DG Urges Young Creatives to Use Federal Programmes and Youth Confab
The Director-General of the Committee of Youth on Mobilisation and Sensitisation, Obinna Nwaka, has urged young Nigerians to use government programmes and youth-engagement platforms to build skills, businesses and practical solutions. Speaking at the 2026 Abuja Comic Art Convention, he encouraged participants to explore opportunities offered by the Nigerian Youth Academy and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund. He also asked youths to contribute ideas and recommendations through the ongoing National Youth Confab. The convention focused on how Nigeria’s comic and creative industries can create jobs, support entrepreneurship and contribute to economic diversification. Nwaka urged comic artists and other innovators to turn their talents into sustainable ventures.
