Stray Bullet Kills IBBUL Final-Year Student During Niger Land Dispute
A 400-level Public Administration student of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, has been killed by a stray bullet during a land dispute in Wawa, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State. The university identified the student as Isma’il Ishaq Magaji and confirmed his death in a statement issued on Saturday. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Sulaiman, described the incident as a painful loss. He urged the communities involved in the dispute to embrace dialogue and restraint to prevent further violence.
