UN Warns Nigeria, West Africa of Growing ISIS Threat

The UN Security Council has warned that ISIS and its affiliates remain a serious threat to Nigeria and neighbouring West African countries. UN officials say armed groups in the Sahel and Lake Chad Basin are adopting commercial drones for surveillance, encrypted messaging platforms and cryptocurrency to move funds across borders.
