How to Build Your Own Analytics Tools and End Dependency on Big Tech

Back in 2013, when I started coding, our websites heavily relied on Google services. I often felt uneasy feeding so much data to companies like Google, but I didn't have the technical skills to create my own tools back then. Fast forward to 2025, I discovered that with just a well-crafted prompt, I can build my own versions of popular tools like Google Analytics. I did this using Deepseek, creating lightweight, fast, and tailored analytics solutions that only include what I need. Now, I avoid attaching third-party scripts and instead develop my own to achieve specific goals. I highly recommend others do the same—it's quick, empowering, and reduces dependency on large corporations.
