Tinubu Arrives in Jos to Address Recent Killings

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu landed in Jos, Plateau State, at 17:00 hours. His visit comes days after unknown gunmen killed more than 27 people. He was welcomed at Yakubu Gowon Airport by Governor Caleb Mutfwang, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and other senior party officials. Defence Minister Christopher Musa and former Governor Joshua Dariye also received him. Top security chiefs, including the Army Chief Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu and Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu, were on hand. Tinubu is set to meet community leaders to seek a lasting solution to the recent attacks.
