Freelancers: Stop Chasing Payments on WhatsApp—Send Proper Invoices
Sending a message that says “you owe me ₦45,000 for the logo” is not the same as issuing an invoice. Set expectations before you start work, especially for revision limits and after-hours requests. Freelancers should protect their time and income with written agreements, deposits, due dates and structured follow-ups. Do you think invoices make clients take payments more seriously?
