PM NEWS has warned politicians, political parties, supporters and social media users against using its name, logo or newspaper design to circulate fabricated political stories. The newspaper said a purported front page carrying a claim attributed to President Bola Tinubu is fake. It said the page, including its headline, photographs, text and layout, was generated with AI and was never published in any genuine edition. PM NEWS urged the public to verify materials credited to the platform before sharing them. It said it will preserve evidence, report offenders to law-enforcement authorities and pursue legal action over the misuse of its identity.
