Governor Mbah Denies Blocking NDC Town Hall in Enugu
1 / 2
Members of the NDC alleged that they were denied access to Opara Square in Enugu for a planned town hall meeting. They said they later booked Amadeo Event Centre, paying ₦3 million for the hall and ₦500,000 for space outside it. They alleged that workers stopped them from decorating the venue and said it was reserved for schoolchildren. Governor Peter Mbah has denied ordering any political party to be barred from using a private facility. He described the allegation as false and said those making defamatory claims could seek legal redress.
