Kwara Police Nab Two Togolese Over N22m Kidnap Plot

Kwara State police have arrested two Togolese nationals in connection with a foiled N22 million kidnap plot in Okuta. The complainant reported receiving anonymous calls demanding N22 million to avoid his abduction and threats to kill his brother. Officers from Okuta Division, aided by the Intelligence Response Team and technical support, tracked and detained the suspects and recovered the phone used for the threats. The police PRO said both suspects confessed during interrogation. The seized phone is now held as a critical exhibit.
