The Anambra State Government has taken 10-year-old Chizoba Ifeanyi into protective care following reports that she was allegedly abused while living as a domestic worker in Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area. The woman accused in the case reportedly fled after the incident but was later arrested by the police. The state Ministry of Women Affairs says it is investigating the matter and will pursue legal action against anyone found responsible. The child is now receiving protection and care in government custody.
