Gunmen have killed Zaki Sylvester Terfa Suleagbough, the clan head of the Mbatyula community in Chanchanji Ward, Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The attackers reportedly entered the community in the early hours of September 13 and fired shots before targeting the traditional leader’s residence. Residents are said to be fearful following the attack. The motive is unclear, and the gunmen had not been identified or arrested at the time of the report.
