Final-Year Federal University Student Found Dead Along Felele Road, Lokoja

A final-year student of Federal University, Lokoja was discovered dead on Saturday night along the Crusher area of Felele-Lokoja Road in Kogi State. Miss Sarah Ojodomo Idoko’s body was found shortly after a passing vehicle stopped nearby and sped off. An identity card initially linked her to Kogi State Polytechnic, but the Kogi State Police Command later confirmed she was enrolled in an HND programme at Federal University, Lokoja. Eyewitnesses noted there were no obvious signs of organ removal, raising questions about the motive. The Association of Nigeria Female Students in Kogi State condemned the killing and called on security agencies to strengthen patrols around student communities. The state’s police commissioner, Naziru Kankarofi, said investigations are ongoing and pledged to make findings public when ready.
