Ebonyi LG Chairman Warns Opposition Supporters Ahead of 2027 Elections

Ohaukwu Local Government Area Chairman, Eze Paul Ituma, has warned opposition parties and their supporters against political activities he considers hostile within the Ebonyi council area ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking at a political gathering, Ituma said anyone who attempted to work against his interests could be declared persona non grata in Ohaukwu. He described politics as his main business and cautioned rivals not to “put sand in my garri.” His comments have sparked concern over inflammatory political rhetoric and the safety of opposition supporters as preparations for the 2027 elections begin.
