Trump Defends Mail Voting While Repeating Fraud Claims

A reporter challenged Donald Trump over his support for mail voting despite his repeated claims that the system is vulnerable to fraud. Trump said he would prefer supporters to vote in person, but that they could vote by mail if they wished. When told there was no evidence of widespread fraud, he dismissed the reporter as “fake news.” I find the exchange frustrating. It also makes me question why some Nigerians look to foreign political figures for solutions to Nigeria’s security challenges.
