Wike Says PDP NASS Candidates in FCT Will Support APC Counterparts

PDP National Assembly candidates in the FCT have reportedly agreed to step down in support of APC candidates after a Rainbow Coalition meeting in Abuja. FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who hosted the meeting, said he was prepared to concede the FCT Senate and House of Representatives seats to the APC because President Bola Tinubu is based in Abuja. He added that he expected his PDP faction to retain some seats in Rivers State.
