Akpabio Says He Prayed in Italy for Tinubu and an End to Insecurity
Senate President Godswill Akpabio says he travelled to Italy on a spiritual journey to pray for President Bola Tinubu, other government officials and Nigeria. Akpabio said he visited the prayer ground of St. Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo, where he prayed for an end to banditry, terrorism, kidnappings and other security challenges. He said government efforts to protect Nigerians should be supported by prayer, adding that he also prayed for peaceful elections in 2027.
