Bauchi Police Arrest Four Suspects Over Alleged Sexual Abuse of Minors and Vulnerable Woman
The Bauchi State Police Command says it has arrested four men over separate allegations of sexual abuse involving three girls aged 10, 11 and 12, as well as a 20-year-old woman with an intellectual disability. The incidents were reported in Ningi, Katagum, Shira and Bauchi metropolis between October 8 and 10. Police said the children and the woman were taken for medical examination and care, while the suspects were arrested for investigation. The Commissioner of Police has ordered that the cases be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution. Residents, parents and guardians have been urged to report suspected abuse promptly.
