Lagos Police Arrest Three Over Alleged ₦50m Robberies in Osun and Ondo
Lagos Police Command says it has arrested three suspects over a series of alleged armed robberies in Osun and Ondo states. The suspects were reportedly linked to the theft of five vehicles and valuables estimated at about ₦50 million. Police said the Anti-Kidnapping Unit traced the suspects through intelligence and arrested them at different locations in Lagos. A Toyota van allegedly connected to the operations was recovered. The suspects are also alleged to have robbed a traditional ruler in Ondo State. Police say investigations are continuing to recover more vehicles and weapons and to identify other members of the alleged gang.
