Anambra Police Launch Manhunt After Gunmen Kill Two in Awka
Anambra State Police Command has launched a manhunt for gunmen who shot dead two people in separate attacks in Awka on Sunday. Police said three unidentified suspects were travelling in a silver Toyota Corolla when they carried out the shootings at Capital City Road, Amaenyi, and S.M. Okeke Street, Amaikwo. One victim was identified as Isaac Nwosu, also known as Azia, while the second victim has yet to be identified. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a comprehensive investigation. Residents with credible information about the suspects, their vehicle or movements have been urged to report to the police, with assurances of confidentiality.
