Adeleke Urges Osun Residents to Report Suspicious Activity Over Alleged Worship Centre Threats
Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged residents to promptly report suspicious movements, unfamiliar persons and other security concerns to the police, DSS and other agencies. The appeal follows intelligence reports of alleged plans to attack places of worship and public gathering centres in the state. Residents of border communities were particularly asked to remain alert and share useful information with security authorities. Adeleke said the state would strengthen security measures and convene a State Security Council meeting to review its response. Muslim and Christian leaders who met separately with the DSS also confirmed they had been advised to take preventive steps against possible attacks.
