Osun NUJ Chairman Visits Afiju FM, Pledges Support for Journalists

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, Adeyemi Aboderin, visited Afiju FM in Osogbo with members of the union’s leadership and other journalists. Afiju FM management used the visit to raise staff welfare concerns and called for continued support for journalists’ professional development. The station also highlighted the value of Yoruba-language programmes in improving listener engagement across Osun communities. Aboderin said the NUJ would continue to engage media organisations, protect journalists’ interests and promote ethical, responsible journalism. He assured staff that the concerns raised would receive the union’s attention.
