25 Farmers Laid to Rest After Deadly Bandit Attacks in Zamfara

Communities in Sauna Ward, Talata Mafara LGA, Zamfara State, buried 25 victims of yesterday’s violent bandit raids. Most of the deceased were farmers going about their daily work. Behind every grave is a family whose life has been changed forever. Many of the fallen supported extended households and now mourn without their breadwinners. We pray for Allah’s mercy on the departed and for strength for their loved ones. The cycle of mass burials in northwest Nigeria must end if we are to break the grip of insecurity.
