Wike said their choice was influenced by concerns over the APC’s Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. He claimed the concerns have since reduced under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He also argued that Obi, now linked to the Nigeria Democratic Congress, cannot win the 2027 presidential election.
