NIPSS DG Urges Nigerians to Support Unity, Peace and National Development at 66

The Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Prof. Ayo Omotayo, has urged Nigerians to work together for peace, security and national development as the country marks its 66th Independence anniversary. Omotayo said Nigeria’s progress depends on active citizens, strong institutions and purposeful leadership. He praised the contributions of Nigerians in science, agriculture, business, academia and the arts. He also called for greater support for young people, saying their skills and energy are vital to the country’s future. The NIPSS chief said the institute will continue to support national development through research, policy dialogue and leadership training.
