ADC Gombe Faction Demands INEC De-List David Mark’s NWC, Issues Ultimatum to Atiku

A faction of the African Democratic Congress led by Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe is calling on INEC to remove Senator David Mark and his National Working Committee from the commission’s portal. They cite a court ruling that withdrew recognition from the Mark-led NWC and invalidated its actions. The group insists INEC should instead upload and recognise the authentic ADC National Working Committee. They have also warned former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to stop presenting himself as the party’s 2027 presidential candidate. The faction has given him seven days to apologise publicly or face legal action. In addition, the Gombe-led faction has urged the Inspector-General of Police and the DSS Director-General to investigate Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi. They want him arrested and prosecuted for allegedly spreading false information that could incite public disturbance.
