Speed Darlington Sparks Debate, Says Parents Should Have Only the Children They Can Afford

Singer Speed Darlington has advised parents to limit their family size to the number of children they can properly care for. Speaking in Igbo in a viral video, he argued that people with modest incomes should not have five or seven children. He said one child may be enough, but two is preferable so the responsibility of caring for their parents later in life does not fall on one person alone.
