Anambra Assembly Hails Soludo’s Intervention in Aguleri–Umuoba Anam Crisis

The Anambra State House of Assembly has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for intervening in the communal crisis between Aguleri and Umuoba Anam in Anambra East. Lawmakers said the deployment of joint security forces helped to calm tensions and restore order after the land and resource dispute threatened residents, property and economic activity. The House also recognised the efforts of the deputy governor, the State Boundary Committee, the police and other stakeholders. It called for sustained peace measures to prevent a fresh escalation.
