Davido’s Sister Reveals How She Tries to Control His Luxury Spending

Sharon Ademefun, Davido’s elder sister and the chief financial officer of Davido Music Worldwide, says she holds weekly finance meetings with the Afrobeats star to help him track his spending. She said she often advises him to pause purchases of cars and jewellery, but he sometimes makes new luxury acquisitions despite her warnings. Ademefun added that she is willing to challenge her brother when necessary and has helped bring more structure to his business. She also said Davido has a management team handling his daily logistics, although she occasionally steps in when cost-cutting could affect his travel comfort. Ademefun declined to disclose details of his wealth, citing a non-disclosure agreement. Outside her work with Davido, she runs a clothing business offering inclusive sizes and says she plans to grow it carefully rather than expand too quickly.
