Zamfara Governor Joins President Tinubu’s Historic UK State Visit
Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State will join President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on their two-day state visit to the United Kingdom. He departs Abuja on Tuesday, March 18, to represent Zamfara at the invitation of the British Royal Family. At Windsor Castle, King Charles III will host the Nigerian delegation. They will view a special exhibition of Royal Collection items related to Nigeria and attend a state banquet in their honour on the evening of March 18. President Tinubu will meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss strengthening bilateral ties. They plan to sign memorandums of understanding on trade, investment, defence, and cultural cooperation. Governor Lawal will also pitch Zamfara’s mineral and agricultural opportunities to potential UK investors.
