21-Year-Old Arrested on Lekki-Epe Expressway with Suspected Human Hand, Pistols and ATM Fraud Tools
Operatives of the Lagos Police Command stopped an unregistered commercial bus on the Lekki-Epe Expressway and arrested 21-year-old Samson Onilewaji. Authorities recovered a suspected human right hand, two locally made pistols, a live cartridge, two axes, a POS terminal machine and five ATM cards from his possession. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to robbing three individuals and stealing the POS device and ATM cards. Police say they are working to locate the victims and return their property. Investigators are probing the origin of the human hand and its intended use. Efforts are also under way to identify and apprehend any criminal associates. The suspect will face charges once the investigation concludes. The Lagos Commissioner of Police reassured residents of the command’s commitment to fighting violent crime and urged the public to share credible information to enhance safety.
