Actress Mary Njoku has criticised the double standard in how people judge women who benefit from wealthy men. She argued that men who enjoy a rich man’s food, clothing and money are often casually called his “boys.” However, women in similar situations are quickly labelled “gold diggers.” Njoku said people are naturally drawn to those whose wealth or influence can make life easier.
