Reno Omokri Links Uber’s Nigeria Exit to Lagos Rail Expansion

Reno Omokri has argued that the expansion of rail transport in Lagos contributed to Uber’s decision to leave Nigeria. Speaking on a television programme, he said the Blue and Red Line services offer commuters cheaper alternatives to ride-hailing trips. He claimed the growing rail network reduced Uber’s profit margins, while future projects such as the proposed Green Line could further widen low-cost transport options. Uber said it was leaving Nigeria after reviewing its operations but did not give specific reasons for the decision.
