Police Arrest Abia Man Accused of Throwing Two Children From Storey Building
Police have arrested a man accused of throwing his two children from a storey building in Umuobe, near Barracks Junction on Opobo Road in Obingwa LGA, Abia State. The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday. Eyewitnesses said the man also attempted to throw his wife from the building before he fell and sustained a head injury. The children were rushed to hospital and reportedly survived, though their condition has not been disclosed. Police officers arrived at the compound, secured the scene and took the suspect away after he allegedly resisted arrest. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
