Man Pleads Guilty to Murdering Wife Whose Body Was Found in Freezer

David Barraclough, 45, has pleaded guilty to murdering his wife, Carolann Barraclough, 37, after her body was found in a freezer at their home in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Police discovered the mother of three on March 5 after responding to a safety concern. Barraclough had initially denied the charge but changed his plea at Leeds Crown Court. The court is expected to set a date for sentencing. Carolann’s family said they have also suffered the recent loss of her father while waiting for the case to be resolved.
