Julius Agwu Tears Up as He Recalls Illness, Abandonment and Financial Losses

Veteran comedian Julius Agwu became emotional while reflecting on the difficult period that followed his health crisis. He said a seizure in 2015 led to a brain tumour diagnosis and surgery the following year, with the experience affecting his memory. Agwu said some friends stopped speaking to him during his recovery. He also alleged that his former manager took his money. The comedian expressed pain over feeling abandoned by people in an industry he said he helped shape. He said he has left those he believes contributed to his ordeal to God.
