Tinubu Dismisses Health Concerns After Returning From Europe

President Bola Tinubu has dismissed concerns about his health after returning to Lagos from a working vacation in Europe. Speaking with journalists on Tuesday, Tinubu said he was “healthy, sound, and ready to go.” He added that political rumours would persist but maintained that there was nothing wrong with him. The President left Nigeria on August 30 and spent several weeks in London and Paris. His extended stay abroad sparked public debate over his health and official duties, while the African Action Congress filed a legal action over the trip. Tinubu is expected to resume official engagements in Nigeria ahead of the October 1 Independence Day celebration.
