Cardi B Says Fan Pressure Is Making Her Less Eager To Release Music

Cardi B has told fans that pressure to release new music is making her less willing to return to the studio. Speaking during an X Spaces conversation on 11 August, the Grammy-winning rapper said she had chosen to take the summer off after a demanding start to the year. She said she wants to spend time with her children, enjoy her personal life and focus on her businesses rather than let online criticism control her creative schedule. However, Cardi B hinted that she may still release songs based on fans’ reactions to snippets she shares online. The rapper was later seen at Old Navy’s Fall 2026 denim campaign launch. She described the partnership as a full-circle moment, recalling that she wore the retailer’s clothes while growing up.
