Peter Obi Urges Nigerians to Pray Against Political Corruption

Peter Obi has said politicians are largely responsible for Nigeria’s problems, urging Nigerians to pray for public office holders to stop stealing public funds. Speaking at a religious gathering in Abuja, the former Anambra State governor said the country has the potential to work if leaders do the right thing. He warned against portraying one politician as entirely good and another as entirely bad. Obi also reflected on countries that started out at a similar level to Nigeria but have since made greater progress. He said accountability and an end to embezzlement are necessary for the country to improve.
