Troops Rescue Abducted 8-Year-Old, Neutralise Three Terrorists in North East
Troops of the Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai have recorded major successes across the North East. They rescued an eight-year-old boy abducted from Ngoshe community on March 3, 2026 and neutralised three suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists. In coordinated offensives in Valle, Ashigashiya and Gakara, troops engaged insurgents and seized arms, ammunition and explosives. Several criminal collaborators were arrested, and no casualties were recorded among the security forces. On the Ngoshe–Amuda corridor, security personnel supported by the Civilian Joint Task Force recovered the abducted boy. He has been medically evaluated and safely reunited with his family.
