Facing Delays in My Nigerian Startup Project — Learning and Growing Through the Challenges
I'm based in Nigeria and working as a front-end developer for a startup project. I was hired at a low pay rate but with clear deliverables by a DevOps engineer and aspiring entrepreneur. The project involves building a company website for a SaaS and cybersecurity firm focused on B2B, SIEM, and SOAR solutions. The team includes an experienced back-end engineer, but I have about three years of experience, mostly self-taught. The original plan was for a three-month timeline. However, we're nearing the end of the second month and are not yet halfway through. I'm open-minded about the project's outcome. I understand that the entrepreneur might give up after three months. Even if the project doesn't succeed, I see this as a valuable learning experience to boost my skills, portfolio, and future job prospects, whether freelancing or securing better-paying roles. Senior developers, I would appreciate your advice and insights on this situation.
